Why the perfume inspired distillery? We don’t need to reinvent the wheel, the wheel is doing fine. We are out to make something completely different, spirits that embrace tradition but come from a more cutting edge, new-leaning place. We find the age-old perfume distilling techniques for which Grasse is known meld beautifully with our technology to create a new way of making spirits.
ULTRASONIC Maceration
In the creation of 44°N there is only one way to begin for us: ultra-sonic maceration. The high extraction over the shortest time is optimal to get the best out of each botanical. The scientific word for this is cavitation.
